Red "River"
As I saw my 11 week old Border Collie puppy crawling into a water bucket in
September, 2011, I saw the potential of him being successful in agility. River joined
Dog Tag Agility Head Start Class in October, 2011. Together, we learned the basic of
independent obstacle discrimination – like when I say tire, I don't mean take the jump!
The attention lessons, nestled in the following Foundation Class, taught
me more about handling River on and off the course for which I will forever be
thankful to Deb and John. At 15 months River will begin his agility career in his
first competition in the Kay-9 Dog Training Club Trial in Ponca City, Oklahoma on
September 29, 2012. His future in agility competition seems very promising…
